Distinctive Contribution
This entry contains my distinctive contribution to supporting the development and growth of the Food Pantry at UW Tacoma. This artifact is my final formal presentation my colleague, Dr. Stevens, and I presented at NCORE 2022 both in June and November on the topic of food insecurity on college campuses and using my UWT's Pantry model as an example.
This entry demonstrates my ability to put theory and frameworks into practice continually. We have made continuous changes as we learned about new research and best practices in order to meet our students where they are at. This artifact also demonstrates the growth as a student affairs professional in being able to present at a national conference on specific content areas and feeling completely confident and passionate about the areas of work I oversaw.
This entry addresses the following learning outcomes:

LO #4: Understanding and fostering diversity, justice and a sustainable world formed by a global perspective and Jesuit Catholic tradition.
