Hi everyone! My name is Nedralani Logotala. I am the daughter of Lupematasila and Edlyn Mailo. My father comes from the village of Alofau in American Samoa. My mother comes from the village of Tafuna in American Samoa. In my Samoan culture, when asked, O ai lou igoa? "What is your name?" the direct translation into English is "Who is your name?" The intentionality behind this runs deep into who I am as an individual and part of a large community. When asked this question, people are really asking who our family is and what village(s) we come from. It's custom to share who our parents are and the villages they come from to determine who you are as an individual. This is my story. I am nothing without my loved ones and owe everything of who I am to them.
What fills my bucket?

They say you meet your life long best friends in college. I can testify that this statement is true to the core. This circle of sisters have uplifted, encouraged, brought joy, comforted me through hard times, and held me when I needed it. Love you forever doodooheads. #NPLU #BrownEducatedWomen

Being the oldest and only girl has been an honor and privilege. I am blessed to have paved the way for higher education for my family. Our family grew from 6 to 8 bringing in my beautiful baby sis-in-love and my wonderful and amazing husband.
We have 2 pups that we all absolutely adore and despise at the same time, lol. Bubz and Simba have been such a joy in our lives and always brings a smile to my face when I walk through the door, even after a rough day!
I serve as the Youth Leader at South Tacoma Adventist Fellowship Church. My faith and connection to my church family has been so heart-filling especially in these challenging times. My faith in God has pushed me to understand that there is a reason for everything in life. It's because of His love for me that I am able to live a lifefull of meaning.
